Sadio Mane, 31, has opened up about his reasons for travelling to Saudi Arabia.먹튀검증

On the 9th of this month, the British newspaper The Mirror reported on the reasons for Mane’s move to Saudi Arabia. “Firmino called me two or three times to ask me to come to Al Ahli. I also spoke to Fabinho at the same time. He wanted me to come to Al Ittihad.”

Mane was a world-class striker during his time at Liverpool. His bouncy pace was among the best in Europe. Combined with his consistent goal-scoring ability, he led the team to the top of Europe alongside Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino.

A Ballon d’Or runner-up finish in 2022 boosted his stock. He headed to German giants Bayern Munich with high hopes, but injuries slowed him down. His physical performance declined after the injury. He slumped as his strengths disappeared.

He never fully fit in with the team. In the 2022/23 season, there were rumours of a feud with Leroy Sane. Mane assaulted Sane after a UEFA Champions League defeat to Manchester City and was completely excluded from the team. His first season at Bayern Munich ended with a lacklustre performance.

After just one season, he decided to move to Al Nasr, where Cristiano Ronaldo was playing. Mane has been playing immediately since his move, but has yet to score a goal.

In addition to his former teammates, Mane’s mother played an important role in his decision to move to Saudi Arabia. “My mum especially encouraged me to make the move. We are Muslims. I’m happy because Saudi Arabia is also a Muslim country,” he said.
