On the 9th of this month, the British newspaper The Mirror reported on the reasons for Mane’s move to Saudi Arabia. “Firmino called me two or three times to ask me to come to Al Ahli. I also spoke to Fabinho at the same time. He wanted me to come to Al Ittihad.”

He never fully fit in with the team. In the 2022/23 season, there were rumours of a feud with Leroy Sane. Mane assaulted Sane after a UEFA Champions League defeat to Manchester City and was completely excluded from the team. His first season at Bayern Munich ended with a lacklustre performance.
After just one season, he decided to move to Al Nasr, where Cristiano Ronaldo was playing. Mane has been playing immediately since his move, but has yet to score a goal.
