This year’s tournament will be held at Taipei Heping Gymnasium for nine days, from 12 to 20 May.
Nine teams, including the Ginseng Corporation, will face off against each other in a series of matches to determine the winner.
The Middle Eastern nations of Iran, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates will be represented by national teams.
Japan is fielding a collegiate selection, the United States is represented by UC Irvine, and the Philippines is sending professional team Elasto Painters.
Taiwan will field two teams, the A team, which is the Hangzhou Asian Games squad, and the B team, which is a mix of non-Asian Games players.
The Ginseng Corporation will kick off their eight-game campaign on 12 December at 2pm against the United Arab Emirates.
The women have already completed their competition schedule.
In the women’s division, which was held from 5 to 9 May, Busan BNK, a women’s professional basketball team, finished second behind Japan’s Chanson Cosmetics (5 wins) with 4 wins and 1 loss.
