먹튀검증Klinsmannhoe will reshuffle its coaching staff. Michael Kim will be stepping down as coach of the South Korean national soccer team.

Michael Kim is a Canadian-born coach who is fluent in multiple languages. He has held several positions in Korean professional soccer over the years, including head coach. Naturally, his understanding of domestic soccer is quite high.

In August 2018, Paulo Bento took over the South Korean national soccer team. Michael Kim joined the team as an assistant coach. Michael Kim translated Coach Vento’s words to the players in training. He also organized the data from matches and training sessions.

Ventura stepped down after the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, and Jürgen Klinsmann took over as head coach. Upon his arrival, Klinsmann appointed Andreas Hierzog, Paolo Stringara, Andreas Köpke, and Werner Reutard as coaches.

Michael Kim was the only remaining member of the ‘Bento Division’. Michael Kim had worked with data at the national team under Ventura. Typically, national teams don’t dramatically change their style after a coach change. In other words, it’s all about continuity. It was a no-brainer that Michael Kim would stay.

Suddenly, there were reports that Michael Kim was stepping down as coach. It was all but confirmed that Michael Kim was leaving and that an official announcement would be made soon. Some even suggested that Coach Klinsmann had offered Michael Kim a scouting position and that Michael Kim had turned it down.

The reason for the concern comes down to connections. The South Korean national team has accomplished a feat under Bento: reaching the round of 16 at the World Cup.

The next challenge and goal for South Korea is to win the Asian Cup. In order to accomplish this, they need to have a plan and stick to it. The team has already laid the foundations of passing-based build-up soccer under Bento over the past four years.

The most efficient way for the South Koreans to do this is to keep the positive aspects of their predecessor’s program and fix the weaknesses. Michael Kim’s presence was essential for this task.

Klinsmann’s team is not doing as well as it could be without Michael Kim, who has first-hand experience of the World Cup round of 16. Currently, the South Korean national team has two draws and two losses in four games since Klinsmann’s arrival. No wins.

They even drew with El Salvador, a team that is a step below the South Korean national team. At the time, El Salvador was ranked 75th in the FIFA rankings.

On top of that, Klinsmann used Ahn Hyun-beom, who has a reputation for being one of the best offensive defenders in the K League, defensively. This showed a lack of understanding of Korean players.

The team also needed a local coach, Michael Kim. Currently, Klisman is not in South Korea. He seems to be focusing more on other outside work than the national team.

In an interview with an international media outlet, Klinsmann said, “I don’t miss Messi’s Inter Miami game. I always think about when his next game is.”

Being a national team coach doesn’t mean you can’t watch other countries play. However, the prevailing view is that your priority is to watch games related to your job as a national team coach.

Klinsmann said he doesn’t miss Messi’s games. However, in his five months in charge, he has watched a total of 16 K League matches. On average, that’s about three games a month. He prioritizes Messi’s matches over the K League.

Coach Michael Kim picked up where Klinsmann left off. Coach Michael Kim is known to be a frequent observer of the K League.

According to various reports, he will not be accompanying the team from the upcoming September A match. If the parting of ways between Klinsmann and Michael Kim is officially announced, there will be no shortage of noise for the Korean national team.
